Teak Fellowship Train Car Build
LEARN MORE
Wizard Studios is recognized for its creativity and innovative event solutions that guarantee an indelible impression on your guests. The world-class designers and artisans on our team built a custom subway train car for The Teak Fellowship’s gala at the historic Caldwell Factory in New York City.
This iconic installation began with a thorough research phase, where our team of designers studied real New York City subway cars in order to create a plan for the structure of our custom build. Once our design was finalized, we got to work by first obtaining all the necessary materials, including aluminum and steel sheets, to build the frame of the train car. Our world-class artisans and builders are familiar working with all sorts of materials and used a series of welding and riveting techniques in order to assemble the large structure.
The interior of the train car is almost an exact replica of a real New York City subway train car, including subway tile walls, overhead lighting, and that iconic orange and yellow seating. A functional cocktail bar was installed at one end of the train car, complete with shelving, a bar top, and refrigeration system to keep drinks cold.
We love a creative challenge. If you have an idea for temporary or permanent installs or art pieces, we can help you bring it to life, even if your idea is outside of the box.
