Fall, believe it or not, is the second greatest consumer shopping season of the year (the first being winter and the holidays). That means that the fall is a great time to start a charity fundraising campaign, organize ticketed or private events, and take advantage of the various fall event themes while the weather is still nice for outdoor activities. Choosing a theme for your event is becoming more and more popular. Guests love a theme and the well-crafted experience it provides. Oktoberfest: Oktoberfest is an autumn festival held in late September and early October, featuring the drinking of beer. Sounds fun, right? Wunderbar! Cook up some German sausages on the grill and serve soft pretzels, potato salad, beer, and homemade apple strudel. Feature the traditional Oktoberfest colors (red and blue) and Bavarian-themed decorations of all kinds. Hire a DJ or Traditional Polka band and teach your guests how to dance the polka. As your guests dance and consume pretzels and beer, they will feel as if they’ve been transported to one of Munich’s most treasured biergartens, all without a passport. Prost!
Traditional Fall Festival: A traditional fall festival is a great way to celebrate the changing of seasons with lots of your favorite long-standing traditions to get the whole family involved. From haunted houses to scavenger hunts, make the most of your fall event. Make your event fun for the whole family and include an arts and crafts station for kids, good live music and beer for the adults, and of course, delicious apple cider. Other fun fall festival activities include bobbing for apples and pumpkin carving.
